1. Welcome to Spark
By creating an account or using Spark Chat ("Spark"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Spark.
2. You must be 18 or older
Spark is for adults only. You confirm you are at least 18 years of age. We verify date of birth at signup. Accounts found to belong to minors are removed immediately.
3. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your password secure. One person, one account. Don't impersonate others, don't pretend to be a public figure, and use a real photo of yourself.
4. Acceptable use — what's NOT allowed
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or stalking of any user
- Nudity, sexually explicit photos, or solicitation of minors
- Spam, scams, romance fraud, financial requests
- Fake profiles, catfishing, deepfakes, AI-generated impersonation
- Commercial activity, advertising, or recruitment
- Sharing other users' photos or messages outside Spark without consent
Violations result in immediate account termination and, where appropriate, reporting to law enforcement.
5. Reporting & safety
Every user has Block and Report tools available in chats. We review every report and act swiftly on confirmed violations. To report serious safety issues:

6. Content you create
You retain ownership of the photos, bios, prompts, and messages you create. By using Spark, you grant us a limited license to host, display, and process this content solely to operate the service.
7. Spark+ subscriptions
- Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.
- Cancel anytime via Stripe billing portal or by emailing us.
- Refunds are at our discretion and generally not given for partial billing periods.
- All payments processed by Stripe; we never store card details.
8. AI features
Spark uses AI (Anthropic Claude) to generate bio suggestions, icebreakers, compatibility insights, and date plans. AI suggestions are creative aids — not facts. Use your judgment. We don't share your content with AI providers for model training.
9. Calls
Voice and video calls happen peer-to-peer via WebRTC. We don't record or store call media. Call metadata (duration, participants) may be logged for safety and billing.
10. No guarantees
Spark is provided "as is." We don't guarantee matches, friendships, or romantic outcomes. We don't background-check users — meet safely, in public places, when meeting in person.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spark Datin is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Spark. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
12. Termination
You may delete your account anytime in Profile → Sign out → request deletion. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes will be resolved in the state courts where Spark Datin operates.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
